I'm Richard Stretton, an Englishman living in Aotearoa (New Zealand) since 2005. I've built model airports since I was a child collecting 1/600 scale Schabaks. In 2014 I started my own aviation history website Yesterday's Airlines (http://yesterdaysairlines.weebly.com). This has grown into a great resource for exploring aviation history through my model collection.
Before I upgraded to collecting larger 1/400 scale models I created a fictional model airport for my Schabak collection. That airport, Imogenia, was based upon realistic airport operations and procedures. Though fictional I tried to make it as real as possible and so defined its setting in the world, timetable and operating period. This site is designed to display not only the real world of the model and my Schabak collection but also a fictional world in which Imogenia International Airport is a primary gateway to the Far East. I hope you enjoy your visit to Imogenia.
